Microids has announced that the TOKI remake that was recently released on the Nintendo Switch will be coming to the PC in Q2 2019. In addition, and following the release of Asterix & Obelix XXL2, Microids will bring Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir to the PC in Q4 2019.
Declares Elliot Grassiano, Vice-President of Microïds, said:
“2018 was a record year for Microïds with the successes of Asterix & Obelix XXL2, Gear.Club Unlimited 2, Toki and Flashback 25th anniversary. These successes reaffirm our long term strategy and commitment to develop games with increasingly higher budgets. This year, we are glad to bring new adventures and experiences to our community.”
According to the press release, while the gameplay stays true to the original in the TOKI remake, it will also get a speedrun mode, a quick save system and 5 extra graphic filters to enjoy it. On the other hand, players will have the chance to discover Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir alone or in co-op as both Asterix and Obelix will be playable.
