Back in August 2020 we revealed a top-down Metal Gear Solid parody game, called UnMetal. And today, Versus Evil has officially announced that a full version will be coming soon on PC.
UnMetal is a 2D stealth/action game (with a bit of humor) where the goal is to escape from an enemy military base. What started as a simple break out ended up being an inside operation to prevent a massive attack against the NATO.
Now as you may have guessed, the game will not feature any names or direct references to Metal Gear Solid. After all, Konami owns the Metal Gear Solid IP. Still, it will be easy for all MGS fans to see the parallels and similarities between them.
There is currently no ETA on when UnMetal will come out. Still, PC gamers can go ahead and download a demo of it from here.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
