Turkish publisher Bilkom may have leaked the year in which Cyberpunk 2077 will release. The publisher claimed yesterday – via a tweet – that CD Projekt RED’s new open-world RPG will release in 2019 in Turkey.

Bilkom appears to be one of CD Projekt RED’s official distributors as it has published The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in Turkey. Bilkom has also worked with other big companies like ASUS, Apple and Warner Bros. In other words, this is a big Turkish publisher/distributor.
CD Projekt RED has not announced anything yet about the release date of Cyberpunk 2077. We do know that the game is in Alpha stage so we are not certain whether this estimated year is valid or not. The Turkish publisher may be merely guessing, though this seems unlikely.
We strongly suggest taking this with a grain of salt. We do know that CD Projekt RED will release Cyberpunk 2077 on current-gen systems (and perhaps on next-gen consoles too) so a 2020 release date seems more logical. I mean, the first gameplay footage we saw from Cyberpunk 2077 was last month and we are almost certain that the team needs more than a year in order to finalize it.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
