In a Reddit IAMA discussion, Ubisoft’s employees have revealed some interesting new information about the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3. According to Gabe Graziani, Ubisoft’s Community Developer, the PC version will be packed with DX11 features, and that all the bug fixes – that will be coming to the console versions – will be available from the get-go.
What’s more interesting though is that Ubisoft’s employees stated that the controls of the PC version will be fine. All previous Assassin’s Creed titles suffered from awful mouse acceleration side-effects, so it will be interesting to see what Ubisoft considers ‘fine’.
As Creative Director, Alex Hutchinson, said:
“PC will be fine AFAIK in terms of mouse and keyboard.”
In addition, Ubisoft’s Community Developer has revealed that Ubisoft has added additional details to the PC version, stuff that they didn’t really need to think about for the console versions. Moreover, the PC version is promised to be less buggy than the console versions (during their launch date).
Assassin’s Creed 3 PC is currently planned for a November 23rd release!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
