Ubisoft has announced that it has ended its partnership with Limbic Entertainment. As a result of that, Might & Magic Heroes VII won’t receive any future patches, though its forums will remain open – at least for now.
As Ubisoft stated:
“After 4 years of a close collaboration, our partnership with Limbic Entertainment is coming to an end and as such no further updates will be provided for the title. The forums will remain open to allow you to continue the conversation about the game and keep sharing your best creations.”
Limbic Entertainment was the studio behind all latest Might & Magic games, including Might & Magic Heroes VII, Might & Magic Heroes VI and Might & Magic X: Legacy.
This could very well mean that we won’t see a new Might & Magic Heroes game any time soon.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
