A lot of Sam Fisher fans were disappointed at this year’s E3 as Ubisoft did not reveal anything at all about a possible new Splinter Cell game. However, and according to its CEO, it appears that the French company is indeed looking into developing a new part in its Splinter Cell series.
As Yves Guillemot said when asked about a new Splinter Cell game:
“What we can say is we’re receiving a lot of sketches and proposals around the brand and we’re going to pick one up. I think you will be able to see something, but you will have to wait for that.”
So yeah, Guillemot basically confirmed a new Splinter Cell game, though it is still too early to show or even talk about it. Still, we are pretty sure that this will please all Sam Fisher fans as the franchise has not been forgotten!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
