Umbra Software released the first teaser trailer of their upcoming action, hack n slash RPG, Umbra. Although we don’t have a lot of information about it, the game’s official site states that the game uses Crytek’s CryEngine 3 and it definitely looks amazing. Most importantly though is that it retains that old-school atmosphere that all other hack n slash RPGs lack. According to the developers, this footage is from the prototype version of the game and they are currently looking for a producer or a publisher. Enjoy the trailer after the jump.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
