Unreal Engine 5-powered social sandbox MMO game, Pax Dei, hits Early Access on June 18th, gets PC requirements, will support DLSS 3

Mainframe Industries has announced that its Unreal Engine 5-powered social sandbox MMO game, Pax Dei, will hit Steam Early Access on June 18th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer that you can find below.

Pax Dei will be inspired by the legends of the medieval era. The game will feature an open-world playground, and players will choose the role they want to play. Players will explore the land, build their home, forge their reputation, and craft their own stories.

Furthermore, the devs claim that everything in this world will be produced by the players’ hands and skills. Players can provide clothes, walls, food, flowers, and prayers to their villages. Additionally, they can provide weapons and armor to their Clan.

Pax Dei will remain in Early Access for at least a year. The EA version will have a peaceful gameplay look and an adventure gameplay loop, with large areas to explore (PVE) and compete over (PVP).

The devs have also revealed the game’s first update. This update will be adding to the third core pillar of the game: the social gameplay loop, by introducing features such as markets and gold economy.

Mainframe Industries has also revealed the PC system requirements for Pax Dei. PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5-7600K or AMD equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. The game will also require 80GB of free disk space.

The devs recommend using an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. Plus, the game will support DLSS 3 from the get-go (though we don’t know whether there will be support for AMD FSR 3.0 or Intel XeSS).
