In order to celebrate Unreal’s 20th anniversary, Epic Games is offering this classic first-person shooter for free. Unreal was Epic’s answer to id Software’s Quake 2 and while it did not dethrone id Software’s classic shooter back then, it still remains one of the most beloved FPS games. This is an incredible offer, so we strongly suggest getting it while you still can.
Epic is giving away the Gold Edition of Unreal. This version features 47 single player missions, 20 multiplayer levels with 5 different game types,an arsenal of over 13 deadly weapons, and includes all of the latest Unreal enhancements and technical improvements.
Those interested can get their free copy by visiting GOG or Steam. Do note that this is a limited free offer, and will end in 47 hours.
Have fun everyone!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
