Focus Home Interactive and DONTNOD Entertainment have revealed a new action RPG game called Vampyr. The game was revealed during an event held by Focus Home Interactive, so hopefully we’ll have more details about it in the coming hours or days.
Thankfully, TheSixthAxis has shared some details about it:
“The game is set just after World War One and players will take on the role of a doctor. He returns home while the Spanish Flu is going around, and is bitten by one of his patients. That bite transforms this doctor into a vampire.”
Vampyr will have to choices with consequences, so it will be interesting to see whether DONTNOD Entertainment will be able to nail such a concept.
Enjoy the game’s poster from Focus’ event and stay tuned for more.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
