In an interview with MCVUK, Focus Home Interactive’s boss Cédric Lagarrigue revealed that Vampyr will not get any post-launch DLC. According to Cédric, Vampyr is a purely solo experience and will offer the complete experience from the get-go.
As Cédric said when asked about their DLC plans for Vampyr:
“This is a purely solo experience; we did not plan DLC. We would prefer, if the reception of the game justifies it, to think about a sequel. We and Dontnod already have some ideas, as there’s so many incredible things to offer in such a universe.”
Now that’s the spirit Focus Home Interactive.
Cédric also claimed that Vampyr will turn a profit once and if it sells 500K copies. If the game sells 1 million copies, it will be considered a success.
Vampyr will release in Spring 2018!
