SEGA has just announced that VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 R.E.V.O. will be officially coming to PC via Steam this Winter. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher also shared the key features of the PC version, as well as a new trailer for it.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is based on Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, giving players an optimized gaming experience in their quest to become the world’s greatest fighter.
The PC version will support resolutions up to 4K. As with most fighting games, the framerate will be locked at 60FPS. Plus, the devs have implemented a number of gameplay balance adjustments and tweaks.
This is certainly exciting news for all Virtua Fighter fans. I know that a lot of PC gamers have been asking for this title. But, is it too little too late?
Anyway, Mortal Kombat 1 had a peak of 38K concurrent players. On the other hand, Tekken 8 had a peak of 50K players. So, I’m curious to see whether or not VF5 will be able to at least match the amount of players for MK1.
For what it’s worth, the Steam store page does not list Denuvo. In my opinion, it will be a huge mistake to implement it. Still, this is SEGA we’re talking about and the company has used Denuvo in pretty much all of its latest PC titles.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
