THQ Nordic has just announced that Volition is working on a brand new Saints Row game. Moreover, the publisher claimed that Dambuster Studios, one of its internal studios, is now working on Dead Island 2.
Regarding the new Saints Row game, THQ Nordic noted that it will be the “first full entry in this much loved series since Saints Row IV was released in 2013.”
As for Dead Island 2, the good news is that it’s in active development. Back in May 2019, THQ Nordic stated that the game was still under development. And today, we finally know the studio that has been assigned to it.
THQ Nordic has also stated that Fishlabs is working on a new IP, as well as a number of unannounced project. Furthermore, Steve Ellis has joined THQ Nordic. In case you weren’t aware of, Ellis was one of the one of the Timesplitters series’ creators. Ellis will help THQ Nordic to plot the future course for this franchise.

- Last year Deep Silver acquired the much-loved TimeSplitters IP. We’re delighted to announce that one of the series’ creators, Steve Ellis, has joined us to help plot the future course for this franchise.
