NeocoreGames announced today that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr’s public alpha, called The Founding, will be available on February 10th.
According to the press release, The Founding is a very special Founders’ Campaign designed for players who would like to follow and influence the development of this game and help NeocoreGames form the very first Action-RPG in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The Founding packages will become available on the official site on February 10.
With Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, NeocoreGames aims to expand the boundaries of the Action-RPG genre itself by taking the in-game mechanics and visual solutions to a brand new level, and also by opening up a persistent sandboxed Action-RPG.
The game’s single player campaign pitches players into a grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition. After the end of the campaign the story continues in a colossal sandboxed game set in the same secluded sector of this vast universe. This persistent setting promises to grant years of constant entertainment, gradual development and a continuous flow of content that enriches the Action-RPG gameplay.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
