Neocore Games has released a new patch for Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr that introduces to it an Offline Mode. As such, the game will no longer require players to be online in order to play it.
Do note that while you can keep playing with your characters in online mode and you can keep your progress, you won’t be able to transfer them to the Offline Mode. Offline characters are handled separately in your new offline account. Thus, you must create a new character if you wish to play in offline mode.
In this new Offline Mode, all online features are disabled. This means that you won’t get any seasonal content, multiplayer, leaderboards and social features. In short, this mode is ideal for those who want to play the game without having to worry about connectivity issues.
Finally, Neocore Games claimed that this Offline Mode does not indicate the end of support for this Warhammer title. The team still has content to release throughout the year.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client.
Have fun Warhammer fans!
