Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 New Screenshots-1

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has sold two million copies

Focus Entertainment has just announced that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has sold two million copies across all platforms. The game officially came out yesterday, which means that it had strong pre-orders.

In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, you get to be a powerful Space Marine, one of the Emperor’s greatest warriors. The game offers awesome abilities and really strong weapons to wipe out the Tyranid enemies. You’ll also be able to unleash your skills and take down relentless hordes.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is powered by Saber Interactive’s proprietary engine. This engine was also used in World War Z which ran extremely well on PC. And, as we’ve reported, an NVIDIA RTX 4090 can run it with 60fps at Native 4K on Ultra settings.

The game does not support NVIDIA DLSS 3 or AMD FSR 3.0 at launch. However, Saber plans to add them via a post-launch update. Sadly, there is no ETA on when this update will come out.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 seems pretty optimized on PC. Well, that is if you use a modern-day CPU. After all, the game pushes A LOT of enemies on screen. Regarding its GPU requirements, an NVIDIA RTX2080Ti can push 60fps at 1080p/Ultra.

Another thing to note is that Space Marine 2 does not use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. This is great news as some may have thought that piracy would be a big issue here. The game also had a peak of 225K concurrent players on Steam, meaning that it has sold well on PC. It also has Mostly Positive reviews on Steam.

And that is that. From what I’ve played, Space Marine 2 is a great action third-person game. As such, I’m happy to see it performing well (sales-wise).

Stay tuned for more!
