Well, it appears we have today some good and some bad news for you. Saber Interactive has confirmed that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 won’t have Denuvo. On the other hand, the new Harry Potter game, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champion, will have it.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champion is being published by Warner Bros. So, the inclusion of Denuvo shouldn’t come as a surprise. Still, this is something that may put off most PC Harry Potter fans,
As for Space Marine 2, that game is published by Focus Entertainment. Focus has never used Denuvo in its PC releases. At least in the vast majority of them. So, again, this doesn’t come as a surprise.
It will be interesting to see how these two games will do on PC. We know for a fact that there is a crowd for Space Marine 2. As for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champion. It seems like a cool sports game but I’m not personally sold on it. Still, I hope it does well.
Speaking of Denuvo, yesterday we informed you about its inclusion in Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9th. The game will be powered by Saber Interactive’s proprietary engine. This engine was also used in World War Z which ran extremely well on PC. And, according to some early reports, it might be a bit demanding on its max settings.
As for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champion, it will come out on September 3rd. You can also find its official PC requirements here.
