Relic has just announced the details about Space Marine’s Co-Op mode. According to the company, this mode will support up to four players online and will be released – free of charge – in early October. In case you are unaware off, this co-op mode is Relic’s take on horde mode and will be called “Exterminatus”.
As with the game’s multiplayer mode, Exterminatus supports all three classes: Tactical Marine, Devastator and Assault. All those perks that were unlocked via the multiplayer mode will be available to use and the co-op progression will affect your multiplayer ranking.
Exterminatus will come with two scenarios, will include multiple arenas and co-op will be score based, with global leaderboards.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is slated for release later this month on PC, X360 and PS3!
