Batman fans, we have some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that a new Batman: Arkham game is in development. The bad news is that it will be a VR game that will be released exclusively on the Meta Quest 3.
To celebrate this announcement, Warner Bros shared the following trailer. Although it doesn’t show much, it already feels like a Batman Arkham game (which is a good thing). Still, the fact it’s a VR game is kind of a bummer.
To be honest, I don’t expect much from it. I don’t expect this Batman Arkham VR game to be revolutionary. I also don’t expect it to be a “must experience” like Half-Life: Alyx is. But hey, at least we got a new Batman Arkham game, right? Right?
I’ll be curious to see a gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Shadows. Perhaps we’ll get one in September?
Anyway, at this point, there aren’t any additional details to share. Once we get them, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
