KOEI Tecmo has revealed the official PC requirements for Warriors All-Stars. According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i7 870 CPU with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA Geforce GTS 450 graphics card. Not too shabby.
The company recommends an Core i7 2600 CPU with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 for 4K resolutions. For those interested in playing at 1080p, Koei Tecmo recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 graphics card.
Now these requirements are relatively low, however we have to wonder whether this game will be properly optimized in order to be enjoyed with 60fps. After all, pretty much all of KOEI Tecmo’s games are plagued by optimization issues.
The last KOEI Tecmo game we covered was BERSERK and the Band of the Hawk. In that particular title, one setting was so un-optimized that caused severe performance issues on pretty much all PC configurations. As such, PC gamers had to set the Environment setting to Low in order to enjoy it at 60fps. The game also suffered from awful keyboard+mouse controls, which is typical for a KOEI Tecmo game.
Although we are almost sure that Warriors All-Stars will suffer from the very same issues, we kind of hope that KOEI Tecmo will be able to offer a more polished product.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
