inXile Entertainment has just announced that Wasteland 3 has been delayed until August 28th. The team was originally planning to release the game on May 19th. However, and in order to further polish it, inXile has decided to delay it until late Summer.

inXile has cited the Coronavirus outbreak as the main reason behind this delay. Also, the team wants to further polish and improve Wasteland 3’s gameplay mechanics. In order to achieve that, the team needs a bit more time.
inXile claims that it will be putting this extra time into acting on Beta feedback and suggestions. Moreover, the optimize the game and refine its co-op experience.
As we’ve already reported, Wasteland 3 is a new isometric RPG that takes players from the radioactive heat of the American Southwest to the perpetual nuclear winter of Colorado. The game promises to feature challenging tactical combat, hours of exploration, and a deep, reactive story full of twists, turns, and brutal ethical decisions.
