And another one bites the dust. Ubisoft has just announced that Watch Dogs is delayed to Spring 2014 on all platforms. Yes, this isn’t like the AC4 case in which the current gen version is planned for an earlier release than the next-gen one. And to be honest, we’re not surprised by that announcement. Seriously now, did you expect Ubisoft to release two of its most anticipated games in the same bloody day? No no no and no.

As Ubisoft explained via a press release we got about this delay:

“We know a lot of you are probably wondering ‘why now?’ We struggled with whether we would delay the game. But from the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality. As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune every detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.”

Ubisoft promised to release a Q&A dedicated to the PC version of the game at a later date. Moreover, our interview about Watch Dogs will go live later this week, so stay tuned for more!
