Okay, we know that retail and digital sales are two entirely different things and to be frank, we felt the need to include both of them in our weekly report. So from now on and given the fact that Steam is perhaps the best digital distribution service, alongside the Top 10 UK PC Retail Chart we’ll be also reporting the weekly Steam Charts.
We should note though that the Steam chart includes the pre-orders that were made during the week and that digital sales are even more varied and harder to calculate – for example, TrackMania 2 sales like hot cakes but it’s only available through ManiaPlanet. Still, this will give you a better idea of PC games’ sales so without any further delay, here are previous week’s PC charts. Enjoy!

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
