The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, Age of Empires II: HD and SimCity are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. Surprisingly enough, SimCity has managed to retain its throne, which makes us wonder whether that DRM uproar was just for the hell of it. This is definitely good news for EA, no doubt about that. However, it makes you wonder how successful this latest part of the SimCity series could have been if there wasn’t that DRM controversy. Apart from that, UK’s retail charts feel similar to those of last week’s. SC2: Heart of the Swarm gained a couple of places, while Tomb Raider has fallen to the last place. Skyrim has managed to re-enter the charts, whereas Bioshock: Infinite was able to keep its fifth place.
And while Bioshock: Infinite has retained its place in UK’s retail PC charts, it has lost its crown from Microsoft’s Age of Empires 2: HD Edition in Steam’s digital charts. A nice surprise in Steam’s charts is also Dishonored, which was able to climb in the third place. The freshly released MMO ‘Defiance’ is in the fourth place, and is followed by Company of Heroes 2, The Walking Dead and Scribblenauts Unlimited. And in the last three places we can spot ArmA 3 Alpha, Poker Night 2 and Skyrim.
Here are the complete charts. Enjoy!
