The UK PC Retail and Steam PC Digital charts have just been revealed and as we can see, The Sims 3 has managed to reclaim its throne in the PC retail land while the fifth part of Sid Meier’s strategy game is at the top of the Steam charts. And to be honest, the UK PC Retail charts are nothing worth writing home about as they are similar to last week’s. Mass Effect 3 lost one place, whereas both Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and BF3 gained one. On the other hand, Skyrim, Football Manager 2012 and Star Wars: The Old Republic remained at the same place as last week.
As always, the Steam Digital charts tell a completely different story thanks to its pre-order bonuses and its incredible discounts. As a result of that, the ‘Game of the Year’ edition of Civilization V is at the top place and is followed by Skyrim, Anno 2070, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock. Indie fans will be pleased to hear that Orcs Must Die and Dungeon Defenders are at the sixth and seventh places respectively. Strategy fans on the other hand have been enjoying Eugen Systems’ latest strategy game, Wargame: European Escalation, that can be spotted at the eighth place, followed by the standard edition of Civilization V and the ‘Game of the Year’ edition of Borderlands.
Here are the complete charts. Enjoy!
