Well, it was to be expected as Football Manager 2011 has always been at the top places of UK’s Top10 PC Retail charts. So it’s only natural to see its 2012 version getting at the first place, right? What was a bit unexpected though was the fact that Football Manager 2012 has managed to gain the first place and in Steam’s digital charts. Ironically, a lot of people have been wondering if there is a crowd for such games. Well guys, according to the game’s sales there is definitely one and it’s quite big.
In addition, we can notice some new entries in the charts. Talking about the UK PC Retail Charts,The Sims 3: Pets is at the second place whereas another soccer management game, EA’s Fifa Manager 12 is at the fourth place. Both RAGE Might & Magic: Heroes VI have lost five places and can be spotted at the sixth and seventh places respectively this week, while Warhammer 40K: Space Marine has managed to re-enter the charts.
Steam digital charts are as always a completely different story. This is mainly due to Steam’s special offers, as well as to its pre-orders. In addition, some games like Dungeon Defenders – that can be spotted at the second place – are available only through digital stores. Moreover, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has re-entered the charts thanks to its DLC, while SOE’s PAYDAY: The Heist is at the fifth place.
