Microsoft has announced that the Windows 10 Creators Update will be made available to all customers on April 11th. According to Microsoft, this update is designed to spark and unleash creativity, bringing 3D and mixed reality to everyone and enabling every gamer to be a broadcaster.
In addition, this update brings new features to Microsoft Edge, additional security capabilities and privacy tools.
On top of that, the Windows 10 Creators Update will feature the Windows 10 Game Mode. With Windows 10 Game Mode, Microsoft’s goal is to offer the best and most consistent gaming experience on Windows 10 by dedicating more system resources to the PC games. Once users have enabled Game Mode, they can apply it to any game.
It’s worth noting that according to early tests, this new mode does not bring any performance improvements on mid-end and high-end systems. Still, it will be interesting to see whether this new version of Game Mode is better optimized/handled by the operating system!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
