Blizzard announced today World of Warcraft now incorporates the original game with The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm expansions making it easier than ever for new players to get started in Azeroth.
The new retail box, formerly known as the Battle Chest, will start hitting shelves in Europe today, 29th October.
The box includes the game discs, an updated Official Beginner’s Guide and a Quickstart Guide for new players.
World of Warcraft is available in seven European languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian).
The suggested retail price for World of Warcraft is £9.99 or alternatively the digital version can be purchased directly from Battle.net.
Let’s hope now that Blizzard will turn WoW into a F2P title. In our opinion, this is inevitable and it’s just a matter of time before this happens.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
