2K Games has announced that the PC version of WWE 2K18 will be released the same day as the console versions. This is the first time a WWE 2K game releases simultaneously on PC and consoles, so we gotta give a big kudos (and a cookie. Everyone loves cookies) to 2K Games for not treating PC gamers as second class citizens.
As 2K Games stated:
“On October 17th, both the standard and deluxe editions of WWE 2K18 will go live on Steam and various other PC retailers around the globe.”
Do note that the four-day Early Access Deluxe Edition perk for WWE 2K18 – that is present on consoles – will not be an option on the PC.
WWE 2K18 will be powered by a new/enhanced graphics engine, aiming to deliver new lighting, more realistic skin and new camera effects.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
