Playtonic Games announced today that Yooka-Laylee will be released on April 11th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has also released a new trailer for its 3D platformer that can be viewed below.
Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platform game, starring the new buddy duo Yooka and Laylee, who use an arsenal of special moves to explore gorgeous 3D worlds filled with collectibles to discover, secrets to unlock and a cast of quirky characters to meet or defeat.
Yooka-Laylee is being developed by ex-Rare developers that worked on Donkey Kong Country and Banjo-Kazooie, and its development team aims to bring back those amazing SNES and N64 platform titles that most gamers adored.
