Blizzard has launched a free week event for its team-based multiplayer first-person shooter, Overwatch. Players can download and start playing the game today and until December 4th. Players will be able to choose from 31 unique heroes, each with their own awe-inspiring abilities.
Naturally, players will have access to all maps and modes. You will battle across a wide assortment of maps with varied objectives set around the world and lead your team to victory. You will also play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade.
As always, those who decide to purchase Overwatch after test driving the game will get to keep any progress that they made during the free to play period.
Overwatch is a team-based online multiplayer first-person shooter that assigns players into two teams of six. Each player selects one of the pre-defined characters, called heroes, each with unique movement, attributes, and abilities.
In Overwatch, players work together to secure and defend control points on a map or escort a payload across the map in a limited amount of time.
You can download and start playing the game from Battlenet.
Have fun!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
