I’m pretty sure that there aren’t a lot of players that play Metal Gear Survive these days. Konami’s latest Metal Gear game disappointed pretty much all of its fans and is easily one of the worst Metal Gear games to date. Still, modder ‘iBobaFett’ released a new mod for it that allows players to experience this survival game in first-person mode.
This mod adds a first person view that works in both single-player and co-op, though it requires a controller in order to be enabled or disabled. Once you turn it on (or off), though, you can keep playing the game with your mouse and keyboard.
This FPS mod for Metal Gear Survive is mainly based on the first-person mod that MXMSTR and guibillyboy released for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It’s also worth noting that it includes the Disable Virgil’s Whining mod.
Those interested can download it from here. You can install it by extracting its content to “SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\METAL GEAR SURVIVE\” and overwriting any necessary files. Once you’ve installed it, you can turn it on by pressing DOWN on the D-Pad and R3 (click in right analog stick) at the same time and turn it off by pressing UP on the D-Pad and R3 at the same time.
Have fun!
