Zombie Studios has announced a new PC exclusive title that will be coming out on the second quarter of 2013 and will be powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. Although we don’t have enough details about it, we do know that it will be a psychological thriller and that it will sport next-generation visuals.
Jared Gerritzen, Zombie Studios boss, said:
“Unreal Engine 4 will be a fundamental benefit to our studio as we move into the next generation of games and take our studio to the next level.”
Zombie Studios was responsible for Blacklight: Retribution, one of the few free-to-play titles that featured DX11 effects.
Contrary to Blacklight, we expect to see this unannounced psychological thriller getting released on both digital and retail form, and won’t be a free-to-play title.
It will be interesting to see what Zombie Studios can achieve with Epic’s next-generation engine and whether this psychological thriller will take advantage of Unreal Engine 4’s new shader and lighting techniques.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
