Halo Online Revealed – Free-To-Play FPS Exclusively for the PC, Powered by Reworked Halo 3 Engine

Syber Interactive Studio and publisher Innova revealed today a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter based on the Halo franchise, called Halo Online. Halo Online will be coming exclusively on the PC, is powered by a reworked version of the Halo 3 Engine, and will be coming to Russia (though a European release is not excluded as of yet). Melancholy Republic – 16bit JRPG That Promises to Be A “Heartbreaking Tragedy”

Kelly McGuire has informed us about a JRPG she’s been working on – as a co-writer and editor – called Melancholy Republic. Melancholy Republic is being developed by Cloud Runner Studios, aims to be a 16-bit JRPG cinematic story driven game, and there is a Kickstarter campaign for it that ends in 16 days (aiming to raise £15K in total). Brutal Half-Life – Brutal Mod Inspired by Brutal Doom – Beta 0.1 Now Available

Battlefield: Hardline Plagued By “Tages-Like” DRM, Game Locks Due to Hardware Changes

Back in 2012, Ubisoft was criticized for the DRM system used in Anno 2070; a really annoying DRM that locked the game whenever there was a certain number of hardware changes made to a computer (like changing your graphics cards). Obviously, this draconical DRM frustrated everyone and it appears that Visceral’s latest Battlefield game is plagued by a similar DRM. As you may have noticed, yesterday we did not post any new screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Blasphemy. Blasphemy I tell you. How could this be? Heroes of the Storm – Latest Update Adds a Number of New Features

Blizzard announced that a new patch has been released for Heroes of the Storm. Heroes of the Storm is a free-to-play online team brawler starring Blizzard’s characters and according to the team, a number of new features have now been added to Heroes of the Storm with today’s patch. Xbox 360 Emulator “Xenia” Runs Real Game “A-Train HX” at 60FPS

Ben Vanik, creator of the Xbox 360 Emulator “Xenia” has released a new video, showcasing his emulator running A-Train HX at 60 frames per second. As Ben noted, there are currently a few graphical issues due to unimplemented shaders, but this game is currently fully playable on Xenia.
