The Quick & Dirty is a new series I’ve decided to try out, if you all hate it…. Well I can burn it to some type of optical media, ship it to burning man and they can re-burn it or something…. The Quick & Dirty is a no-frills weekly show that sums up some of the previous week’s news. It’s for busy (or bored) people and it is intended to be under 15 minutes long, though that time limit isn’t guaranteed it’s what I’ll strive for. Electronic Arts Reveals 15 Features That Have Been Added to Battlefield: Hardline’s Open Beta

Electronic Arts has revealed 15 new features that have been added to the open beta phase of Battlefield: Hardline. According to the publisher, these features were added after the criticism received by the game’s closed beta phase. And while Battlefield: Hardline still feels like a re-skinned version of Battlefield 4, it’s good to see a developer taking fan feedback into account. EA Executive Thinks Their Games Are Still Too Hard

Electronic Arts CCO Richard Hilleman just recently made some comments at the D.IC.E. summit about how new games are often still too difficult for new players to grasp. This was in response to interview questions from comedian Pete Holmes, who said he preferred standardized control lay-outs across titles. Gearbox and IGN have released the first developer diary for Homeworld Remastered. Homeworld Remastered Collection updates and introduces the landmark space strategy games to modern audiences.
