Elite Dangerous Will No Longer Support Offline Mode, Single-Player Mode Will Still Work

A couple of days ago, Frontier Developments revealed that its space sim game, Elite Dangerous, would no longer be played via an offline mode. Naturally, this decision upset a lot of PC gamers and today, Frontier Developments founder David Braben claimed that this decision was made for the good of the game, whatever that means. Resident Evil Remake – New Current-Gen Screenshots Released

Capcom has released a new set of screenshots from the current-gen version of Resident Evil Remake. Resident Evil Remake is coming in early 2015, will be fully remastered with 5.1 surround support for a greater gaming atmosphere, and will offer two control schemes (classic control scheme for die-hard fans as well as an alternative scheme where the character moves directly in the direction of the analogue stick). SEGA has announced that Relic Entertainment’s Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is available to purchase online and in stores today with an RRP of £29.99/$39.99/€39.99. Based around the Battle of the Bulge, which Churchill called “arguably the most important victory in American military history,” players will take on 18 all-new single player scenarios as they attempt to drive the advancing German forces out of the Ardennes region and lead their heroes on a path to glory. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Low Versus Ultra High Comparison Screenshots

Ubisoft has just sent us a review code for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and below you can enjoy a comparison between the game’s Low and Ultra High settings. As we can see, there is a noticeable difference between these two presets. For comparison purposes, we kept the same AA solution (FXAA). Keep also in mind that we were VRAM limited on Ultra High (which resulted in stuttering issues and a bit lower overall framerate). As always, Ultra High is on the left whereas Low is on the right. Radial-G – WipeOut/F-Zero-inspired Futuristic Racer – Steam Early Access Launches This December

Tammeka Games announced that its WipeOut/F-Zero inspired futuristic racer, Radial-G, will release this December on Steam via its Early Access program. Radial-G will feature races over 30 real and AI opponents, will be Oculus Rift-ready, will pack both single and multiplayer action, and promises to deliver full immersion racing on tubular tracks featuring gut-wrenching twists, jumps, splits and unique inverted racing. Far Cry 4 Gets CGI Launch Trailer

Ubisoft has released a CGI launch trailer for its upcoming open world first person shooter, Far Cry 4. In Far Cry 4 you’ll play as Ajay Ghale, travelling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish. Far Cry 4 is available today, and as you may have guessed, Ubisoft has not sent us a review code for this game either.
