Spark Plug Games has released a sneak peek of its upcoming online RPG game based on Joss Whedon’s cult classic TV show, Firefly Online. In Firefly Online. players take on the role of a ship captain as they hire a crew and seek out adventures, all the while trading with and competing against the millions of other players like themselves, doing whatever it takes to survive in the Verse. Interplay Sends C&D Letter To “Sol Contingency: Descent” Dev Team, Descent Content To Be Removed

And this is why we can’t have nice things. Interplay has sent a C&D letter to the team developing fan remake of Descent. As you may have guessed, Interplay basically tried to pull the plug on this game’s development, however the team was well prepared for something like that. And as a result of that, Sol Contingency will be refaced, all Descent content will be removed, and the game will be slightly delayed. The good news here is that the team does not intend to cancel it, which is obviously good news to all 6DoF and first-person shooter fans. We’ve been covering Styx: Master of Shadows extensively lately, so time now to take a look at this new infiltration/stealth game that’s developed by Cyanide and published by Focus Home Interactive. As with all games of Cyanide, Styx: Master of Shadows is not a demanding title. While the game scales well on multi-core CPUs, it doesn’t require a high-end one to shine. Star Citizen Will Support AMD’s TressFX Tech, New Commercial Video Released

AMD reconfirmed today that Star Citizen will support its TressFX tech. While support for TressFX was originally announced last year (at AMD GPU14), the Red team felt the need to remind us that Cloud Imperium does not intend to drop support for it. In addition, a new commercial video has been released that can be viewed below. It’s interesting that at the end of the video we see a female character with – what seems to be – hair powered by AMD’s tech.
