Electronic Arts and Bioware have released a new set of screenshots for their upcoming RPG, Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dragon Age: Inquisition is powered by DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine and promises to be better – in every way – than its awful predecessor. The game is currently planned for a November 18th release. During this year’s EGX event, Deep Silver and YAGER held a developer session for Dead Island 2, in which the development team showcased some new gameplay footage from it. Dead Island 2 picks up the Dead Island and Escape Dead Island storyline several months after the events on the Banoi islands, and promises to offer an action-packed playground featuring the acclaimed, seamless multiplayer for up to eight players who cooperate, compete or simply coexist in a truly social, new-gen multiplayer experience. Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor Has An In-Game Benchmark, GTX970 Reported Pushing 70FPS At 1080p

Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor is almost upon us and YouTube’s member ‘teoKrazia’ has shared a video, showing the in-game benchmark tool that will be featured in it. Moreover, toeKrazia tested Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor on an Intel i5 2500K@4.4, with a GeForce GTX 970 4GB, FoceWare 344.11 WHQL drivers and 8GB RAM. This combo run the benchmark (at 1080p with max settings) with an average framerate of 70fps (minimum framerate was 41fps). Do note that while teoKrazia has selected the Ultra textures, this HD Texture Pack has not been made available yet (meaning that those are High and not Ultra textures). In a Reddit IAMA, Tim “stormonster” Kjell, a 26 year old Swedish Game Designer that worked on games like Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge, Frostbite, Medal of Honor and more, answered a lot of questions surrounding the games he’s been involved with. In addition, Tim talked a bit about EA’s influence on DICE, the launch issues that Battlefield 4 faced, and offered an explanation as to why we have not received any mod tools for all Frostbite-powered games.
