DayZ Standalone – 10 Minutes Of New Gameplay Footage
Dean Hall has released a new video for the standalone version of DayZ, featuring ten minutes of raw, unedited, gameplay footage. As Hall noted, there are noticeable bugs in this video as the game has not entered yet its alpha stage. Arauna2 Introduced – New Path Tracer Engine That Uses Nvidia’s CUDA
Our reader ‘ihatedisqus3’ has also informed us about a new path tracer engine called Arauna2. Arauna2 is the successor to the CPU-based Arauna real-time ray tracer. It uses GPU path tracing to render scenes with global illumination and depth of field, at a speed that enables real-time previewing: during camera movement, images are noisy, but as soon as the camera stands still, the final image starts to converge.
