United Front Games Working On Triad Wars – New Game Set In Sleeping Dogs Universe
United Front Games announced yesterday that it’s already working on a brand new project called Triad Wars. Triad Wars will be set in the Sleeping Dogs universe and will be published by Square Enix (the same company that complained about the low sales of Sleeping Dogs). It seems that the official GeForce website has just leaked the PC system requirements for the latest COD title, Call of Duty: Ghosts. According to the list, PC gamers will need a dual-core CPU in order to enjoy Infinity Ward’s title. What’s interesting here is that the game won’t run on 32-bit OSs, something we’ve been witnessing in a lot of ‘next-gen’ titles lately. Not only that, but 6GB of RAM are a minimum requirement. Steam Machines – Prototype Model Detailed – High-End Hardware Coming To Your Living Room
Valve has revealed the specs for the prototype model of its Steam Machines. According to the company, 300 units will be made based on these mixed specs, and this prototype model will be sent to beta testers. Some of those prototypes will be equipped with Nvidia’s Titan cards, while others will be packed with GTX780s, GTX760s, and GTX660s. And despite the fact that Nvidia has teamed Valve for the Steam Machines, users will be able to replace the GPUs with ones from the ‘red’ team. G3 Studios shared with us the first screenshots of Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore; a first-person, party-based role-playing game that features turn-based combat, with a focus on the story and character development. Developed by fully independent developer and publisher G3 Studios in Southern California, and spearheaded by veteran game designer/producer Guido Henkel (Planescape: Torment, Realms of Arkania Trilogy, Fallout II, etc.), the game is currently in its early stages of development and is currently scheduled for release in 2014. F1 2013 – PC Performance Analysis
Back in 2011, we claimed that F1 2011 was a title suffering from various performance issues. Due to its multi-platform nature, F1 2011 handled some graphical features via the CPU and there was no performance difference between a tri-core and a quad-core CPU. Not only that, but the performance difference between a dual-core and a quad-core was around 6fps, meaning that the game’s engine was unable to properly use more than two CPU cores. Fast forward two years and here we are with F1 2013 – a game that shows performance differences between tri-cores and quad-cores, and a game running way better than its predecessors.
