Dark Souls fans, we have some good and some bad news for you. The good news first – the PC manual for Dark Souls: Prepare To Edition has been unveiled and you can read it online here. The bad news is that – according to the manual – you will be able to navigate the menu with only the directional keys. Great news for PS2 (not to be confused with PlanetSide 2) fans as the best emulator for Sony’s console has hit a milestone. PCSX2 has released its first publich version, 1.0. Modder ‘draco1122’ released an interesting mod for Bethesda’s RPG, Skyrim. This mod is compatible with Dawnguard and is essential for all those facing FPS issues and crashes due to their RAM getting maxed out. Today we bring you new screenshots from the works of modders walid-payne, ZeroNight, iSqueezee, ReVan1199, EliteGhost, Vanity Assassian, Tiesto, maximus22, and CrydaVinci. The highlight of this week though is the first image, a scene that was created by Thiago Klafke who is an environment artist in Blizzard. It’s great to see artists from other studios experimenting with CryEngine 3 and we hope that their companies will actually use it in a future game. In addition, we should note the two videos that are featured in this week gallery. CrydaVinci created an amazing CG scene that is powered by CryEngine 3, while maximus22 was inspired by Red Dead Redemption and created a ‘Wild Wild West’ level. Enjoy! Slightly Mad Studios has released some new, gorgeous looking community screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. What’s important here is that – for the first time – we get to see the destructibility model for various cars, as well as the rain spray effects. Capcom announced that a new – fourth – campaign mode will be available in Resident Evil 6, in which players will take the role of Ada Wong. In order to celebrate it, the company released a new gameplay trailer from that campaign that can be viewed below. Furthermore, a new video from the Agent Hunt mode has been revealed. Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. Bethesda today revealed the all-star cast lending their voices to Dishonored, a new first-person action game from Arkane Studios in which the player takes on the role of Corvo, a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Codemasters has released a teaser trailer for – what looks like – a sequel to Grid. It’s been almost four years since the last Grid title, so we are interested to see what Codemasters has in store for us. Grid got birth from the team that was behind the Toca series. Race Driver: Grid (also known as Grid) was the latest installment in the Toca Touring Car series, a series that evolved to something completely new (as the initial Toca games were classic racing games with circuits). The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season of Content wraps up with the last two Content Collections — Collection #3: Chaos Pack and Collection #4: Final Assault — set to release on the Xbox 360 on August 9 and September 6, 2012 respectively.
