BioWare announced today that it will be expanding the story-driven, massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic by adding a new Free-to-Play option this Fall. This option will give players access to each of the eight iconic Star Wars character class storylines, all the way up to level 50, with certain restrictions. Rockstar revealed today that the Local Justice DLC of Max Payne 3 will be coming to the PC on August 9th. The Local Justice DLC features three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. The DLC is currently available on X360 and PSN and you can view below some screenshots from the PC version of it. In addition, the Special Edition Pack of Max Payne 3 PC will be available alongside the Local Justice DLC and will feature the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable fan favorite multiplayer characters including Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, plus the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. Machinima and Gearbox have revealed the first Behind the Scenes trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426. Players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to uncover the fate of the crew. This new trailer introduces the world to the ranged units appearing in the medieval combat game, along with several painful reminders of how arrows interact with faces at high speed. An interesting video popped up on YouTube, featuring Stephen Shellen who was the voice behind David Sarif in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. According to the video, Shellen believes the Illuminati are coming for him, and his time is limited before he dies for real. Apparently, the Illuminati are spying on him at present, and he is due to die on July 30th 2012. We’ve seen countless of clever viral marketing tricks and this seems like one. Could Square Enix and EIDOS be gearing up for a new Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC or a new Deus Ex game? After all, GamesCom is in a few days, meaning that this could very well be a hint for an upcoming announcement. Or is this simply Stephen trolling the gaming community? Jason Forge has uploaded a new short film, based on Valve’s zombie FPS title. Seriously Left 4 Dead shows some footage of what is said to be the remains of 3 individuals on there short live journey through a highly infected zone outside of Savannah, Georgia.
