We don’t usually share news about consoles, but since we got a lot of mails about it, we felt the need to write about the leaked specs of the next Xbox console that were revealed back in June. In case you’re unaware of, a PDF document with Xbox 720’s specs got leaked and Microsoft was quick enough to react and take it down. According to that sheet, Xbox 720 will be 4x-6x times more powerful than Xbox 360, will have Next-Gen Sensors (Kinect V2.0 and Glasses), will be packed with a Blu-Ray drive, and will feature video acceleration capabilities. Amazon UK seems to have leaked the release date of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. According to the UK retailer, Blacklist is currently slated for a March 29th, 2013 European release and an April 1st North American release on PC, X360 and PS3. In addition, Amazon has leaked the boxarts of the game that can be viewed below. It’s worth noting that the March release date might change, especially since the online shop has the PC version coming alongside the console versions. We know Ubisoft, therefore we can already expect a slight delay for the PC version. Still, we can hope that this game will hit all platforms simultaneously. As promised, Devolver revealed some new information about the upcoming expansion of Serious Sam 3. This expansion will be called ‘Jewel of the Nile’ and is slated for release this October on the PC. The explosive new expansion will contain three new campaign missions set within the story of Serious Sam 3: BFE and follow Sam “Serious” Stone as he tracks down a powerful artifact on an ancient island to swing the tide of battle against Mental’s invading alien horde. Konami has just informed us about a new video for the upcoming 2013 version of their annual soccer game, Pro Evolution Soccer, that will be released tomorrow. According to the company, the new video will go live at 12pm (GMT) 1pm (CET) tomorrow. Although Konami has not provided with more details about it, our guess is that the video will contain some new gameplay footage from PES 2013. Powered by Unreal Development Kit, Crash Bandicoot HD is JakaPixelArt’s take on how a new Crash Bandicoot game would look like in today’s consoles and PC. Great news for Assassin’s Creed fans as Michael Fassbender, the man behind some major roles in 300, Xmen: First Class and Prometheus, will produce and star in a movie adaptation of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed. As you already know, the game’s storyline follows Desmond who learns that he is a descendant of famous assassins after being kidnapped by the Knights Templar. Although we don’t know more details about it, we can expect to see Fassbender reprising both Desmond and his ancestor. And given how famous he is, we kind of expect to see Ezio as Desmond’s descendant. Wolfire Games has released a new video for their amazing indie game, Overgrowth. In this video, the company’s programmer, David Rosen, showcases some of the changes he has done in the latest alpha build of the game. This week, David added a Challenge-End UI which gives information about the gamers’ last playthrough.
