After the lackluster second part of Crysis, a lot of PC gamers began wondering whether Crysis 3 would be concentrating on graphics or gameplay. Well, it seems that Crytek will focus on both of these elements, as well as the game’s storyline in an attempt to offer a great all-round experience, instead of focusing on a single specific aspect. Amazing news for all Alan Wake fans as Remedy has registered the domain name for AlanWake2.com. As the whois looup shows, Remedy is the owner of the website and you can view the entire whois lookup below. Yes, the record was created back in 2005, but it has just been updated according to the lookup. In addition, back in June, Sam Lake hinted that Remedy was working on something new. Ed B has created a drooling, community trailer for Project CARS, in which he puts a Pagani Huayra against… another Pagani Huayra. This new Pagani car looks ridiculously amazing, so kudos to Slightly Mad Studios for their work. As we said in our PC Performance Analysis, Max Payne 3 has the same vRam limitation that was present and in GTA IV. As with Rockstar’s open world game though, there is a way to bypass it. All you have to do is to locate the commandline.txt file that is located in the folder where you’ve installed Max Payne 3. Open this file and add ‘-availablevidmem 2100’ and you will be able to select each and every graphical option. SEGA has announced that the japanese version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will launch on July 4th. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be a free-to-play title and although SEGA has not revealed anything about a possible EU or NA version of it, rumor has it that an announcement will be made next week for them. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. This trailer is dedicated to the Independence Day of fourth of July and contains almost everything you would not expect to see from an Assassin’s Creed title. But then again, the trailer was made for a specific historic event so we can give it a break. Creative Assembly has confirmed today that it is developing the next part in the Total War: Rome series, Total War: Rome II.
