COD: Black Ops 2 PC – Adjustable FOV and Lean in MP confirmed, Significant Performance Improvements

Here is some great news for all Call of Duty fans. According to Treyarch’s lead PC developer, Cesar Stastny, Black Ops 2 will feature adjustable FOV and lean in Multiplayer. As you may have guessed, these are some major features and will be exclusive to the PC version. And although we bet that a lot of you want adjustable FOV and in the SP mode of Black Ops 2, that might not happen. Incoming RAGE DLC/Add-on and Mod Tools

It appears that Bethesda and id Software are preparing a new DLC or add-on for RAGE, as the publisher has registered Rage: The Scorchers with PEGI for PS3, X360 and PC. According to the registration, Rage: The Scorchers will allow players to interact with other players online and will contain extreme violence  and strong language. Battlemon is an amazing mashup between Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon and Battlefield

Now that’s what we’re talking about. YouTube’s member ‘Wintergore ‘ created one of the best mashup videos between Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon and Battlefield. Battlemon starts with a Metal Gear Solid feel to it, with the isometric camera and the alarm sound effect. It quickly goes into a small RPG fight (in a Pokemon perspective view) and is followed by a ‘remix’ of Pokemon’s main theme. And once again, players show what we would be getting if there were mod tools for Battlefield 3. Damn you DICE. Enjoy the video below! Project CARS gets a new, unofficial Community Trailer

It’s been a while since our last – video – check on Project CARS, right? Well, we are happy to present you today a new community trailer from member ‘JonZ’. And let’s start by saying that Slightly Mad Studios needs to replace the tree models and add some more environmental detail. Apart from those small nitpicks though, Project CARS looks ridiculously amazing. Everything is top notch, from the car models to the reflections and the lighting system. DC Universe Online – The Last Laugh DLC Pack Is Now Available

Today, Sony Online Entertainment released The Last Laugh, the fourth downloadable content (DLC) pack for DCUO, available now for download on the PC and PS3. In the largest PvP (player vs. player) content update since launch, no one is safe as Superman and The Joker encourage heroes and villains to invade The Hall of Doom and The Watchtower, as well as the player safe houses and headquarters throughout the open world. The Secret World – Final Beta Weekend Starts On June 22nd

Funcom and Electronic Arts have revealed – via The Secret World’s FB page – that the final beta weekend for it will be initiated on June 22nd. According to the companies, everyone who have signed up for the beta (or for anyone who has not registered yet but still registers by Friday, June 22nd) will be able to play in this final beta weekend. Those who have participated in the previous beta weekends will also be able to take part on it. Diablo III – Full Patch 1.0.3 Release Notes

Blizzard has revealed the full release notes for Diablo III’s highly Update 1.0.3. Be warned that the changelist is huge, so take a deep breath before hitting the ‘continue reading’ button. The update will be made available today in America and tomorrow in Europe. As always, the servers will be taken offline before the update goes live and European players will be unable to log into the Americas or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched. EA enters next-generation fight: Frostbite 2.0 is built for PS4 and X720

Following Crytek’s and Epic’s statements about their next-generation game engines, Electronic Arts decided to step in and talk about DICE’s Frostbite 2. In an interview with Gamasutra, EA Games’ label executive, Patrick Soderlund, said that Frostbite 2.0 is built for next-generation hardware and that the PC version of Battlefield 3 was just a small treat of Frostbite 2.0’s capabilities.
