iCEnhancer 2.0 is almost upon us and Hayssam Keilany has revealed some interesting new information about it. According to its author, this new version of iCEnhancer comes with 1.5/2x better performance than its previous version. Awesome news, right? This basically means that those of you with mid-range machines will be able to enjoy GTA IV with this amazing mod. Deep Silver today released a trailer showing the brand new story DLC “Ryder White” for the award-winning game Dead Island. The DLC will will be available early next week. This DLC offers a unique new perspective into the incidents in the main story of Dead Island: This time the player will get the chance to play as Ryder White, the antagonist of the main game; learn more about his motivations and why, from his point of view, he did what he had to do. 505 Games and Rebellion have released a new developer walkthrough for their upcoming sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. According to the devs, a new balistic system will be present in the game, meaning that players will have to take into consideration both gravity and wind while they’re taking their shots. Sounds interesting, however, we can’t help but notice some ‘features’ that will piss a lot of gamers. Third person covering system? Check. Melee take-downs similar to DE: HR? Check. And it’s now official. Good Old Games has just announced that Square Enix has joined forces with CD Projekt’s distribution service. Not only that, but Deus: Ex Game of the Year Edition and Hitman: Codename 47 are the first titles that are available in GoG for $9.99 and $5.99 respectively. AMD has rolled out two new Catalyst drivers for their graphic cards, therefore, PC gamers can choose between the 12.1 WHQL and the 12.2 Preview drivers. According to the release, AMD’s Catalyst 12.1 WHQL fixes the random graphics corruption or game instability that were present in the Crossfire mode of Crysis 2, the random corruption and screen flicker that was present in Dragon Age 2 with Tri-Crossfire enabled and the corrupted water textures in World of Warcraft’s DX9 mode. Were you disappointed by the fact that Alan Wake PC would be coming to you only through the digital distribution way? Well, time to jump up and down as Nordic Games has announced the signing of the publishing deal for the boxed PC version of Remedy’s critically acclaimed psychological action thriller, Alan Wake. According to the publisher, the boxed PC version will include both XBLA DLCs “The Signal” and “The Writer” and further details on the exact release date are to follow, meaning that the boxed version won’t be available at the same time with the digital one, although a March release is expected. Alongside Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ new, Mediterranean DLC, Ubisoft has released the 1.02 patch for the PC version of the game. This patch was released yesterday for the retail version and is available from here. Steam users had to wait a little bit longer but thankfully, this new update is now available for them too. Naturally, Steam will download along with its DLC, meaning that you will see a 3GB download of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations the next time you start the Steam client.
