Weekly CryEngine 3 Gallery [December 25th – 31st]; this is how Fifa 13 would look like in CryEngine 3

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; you can’t comprehend the flexibility of Crytek’s latest game engine, CryEngine 3. Modders around the world are experimenting with it – thanks to the free SDK that was released by Crytek – and one of them is Gkan who is creating a soccer game. Now there are a lot of complex issues (regarding its collision system) but from what we’ve seen so far, this is how the next-generation version of Fifa would actually look like. It’s really impressive and get this; it’s from one man and not from a whole team, dedicated to it. Simply, amazing. The Ultimate Soldier is an upcoming, promising CryEngine 3 Machinima Movie

Modder ‘Yeardley Diamond’ is currently creating a CryEngine 3 machinima movie. This film will be an alternate story of Crysis and Crysis 2 and the story will start from the ending of Crysis Warhead. The target release of this movie is around 1st quarter of 2012 or early 2nd quarter and ‘Yeardley Diamond’ released a new video that showcases a re-designed nanosuit that will be used. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – ENBSeries 0.102 Tatsudoshi Is Out Now

Remember gionight’s awesome Skyrim screenshots? As we said, gionight used lots of Texture Packs but what really made his screenies to stand out was the custom ENBSeries settings that he has used. And here is something interesting for all Skyrim fans, as Boris Vorontsov has released the latest version of his ENBSeries for Bethesda’s RPG. New mind-blowing live-action trailer for Freeman’s Days; an upcoming Half-Life Russian movie

Here is something special for all Half Life fans. Freeman’s Days is a Russian live-action short film that is based on Valve’s legendary game and will be released in 2012 and the team behind it has released its teaser trailer two days ago. FlatOut 3 developer accuses MW3 for being a beta game; update with new physics coming next week

Now that’s a bit too much. We’ve been suporting Team 6’s efforts, however, it seems that its CEO has crossed the line with his latest statements. According to Ronnie Nelis, CEO of Team 6, FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction is not a beta game like Modern Warfare 3 and many people enjoy it. Wait what? What does Modern Warfare 3 have to do with an indie racing game like FlatOut 3? Go figure. Alan Wake not coming to PS3 anytime soon; Microsoft gave Remedy the green light for the PC version

We know that a lot of you were wondering whether or not Remedy had acquired the rights of Alan Wake as if they actually did get them back, a future PS3 version would be possible, right? Well, it appears that things are more complicated than that. We also know that PC gamers hate Microsoft for keeping Alan Wake exclusively to X360 this whole time, but what Remedy’s Markus Maki revealed yesterday is quite interesting and sheds some light on this whole thing. New Project CARS Community Videos

YouTube’s members ‘BSNismo’ and ‘Garygarynetkar’ uploaded some new videos from the latest build of Slightly Mad Studios community-based racing sim, Project CARS. As you may notice, there a stuttering effect in some scenes that’s due to the lack of an in-game slomotion button, similar to the one in iRacing. Both users forced this slomotion effects and that’s what caused the stuttering effect. Let’s hope that Slightly Mad Studios will implement one in some future build of the game.
