New patch for Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition; comes with improved HDR and FXAA support

Ah, good old Gothic 3. Such a great game that was filled with one hell of bugs and glitches. Its community tried to fix most of them and after a while, a special Enhanced Edition got released. Now, a couple of months after the release of Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition, a new patch for it has been released. This patch comes with improved HDR effects, FXAA support and lots of fixes. Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter – New Update Released

Okay, now this is a great surprise. Croteam has just rolled out a new update for the HD remake of Serious Sam’s second encounter. Not only that, but the changelog is quite big with lots of fixes and additions. You’d expect Croteam to be focused on the latest adventures of Serious Sam but no, the Croatian team is still supporting this old title. Postal 3 Is Out Now; comes with a day-one patch

Get ready Postal fans as the third part of the series has just been released. The game is currently available through Direct2Drive and GamersGate. The game was supposed to also be available via Steam but there is no release date for it as of yet and there isn’t any ‘Buy’ or ‘Pre-Purchase’ button/indication in its Steam page. 2K Games and Yager Entertainment released a new, in-game trailer for Spec Ops: The Line. Spec Ops: The Line unfolds within the destroyed opulence of Dubai. Once the playground for the world’s wealthiest elite, Dubai has fallen victim to a series of cataclysmic sandstorms. The city’s ultramodern architecture lies half-buried under millions of tons of sand. The very sand that blankets the city plays a marquee role in altering combat situations and serves as a powerful but unpredictable force that will both help and hinder players throughout the course of the game. Nvidia’s Christmas Present; Geforce 290.53 Beta Driver Is Now Available

As promised, Nvidia released a new ForceWare beta driver for its cards. This new driver is essential to all 3D Vision owners as it includes 3D profiles for a lot of games that were released these past days. Moreover, there are some updated SLI profiles so be sure to download them if you own an SLI system. A Game of Thrones RPG – First Trailer Released; powered by Unreal Engine 3

Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive released the first trailer of their upcoming RPG that will be based on the successful HBO-Series, Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones RPG is powered by Unreal Engine 3 and promises to last over 30 hours action RPG. Players will enter the gritty and medieval fantasy world of Westeros and as one of two original characters with disparate motivations, both former soldiers of Robert’s Rebellion, they will forge alliances and wage battles as they play a pivotal role in the ongoing war for power of the Seven Kingdoms.
