Iron Front – Liberation 1944 – New info, screenshots and artworks released; coming exclusively to the PC in 2012

Deep Silver today revealed artwork and information about two aircrafts in the upcoming tactical shooter Iron Front – Liberation 1944. The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was one of the most dreaded bombers of World War II. The aircraft, which is known for the ability to precisely bombard its targets, was mainly used at the beginning of the war and became a symbol for the Blitzkrieg. The Petljakow Pe-2 is a Soviet Bomber, similar to the Ju-87 Stuka, it was used to support ground troops. It was produced in over 20 different versions. At the same time, Deep Silver released five new screenshots that show Soviet and German troops as well as aircrafts and tanks. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [December 11th – 17th

The weekly UK Retail and Steam charts have just been unveiled and let us tell you that there haven’t been any significant changes in the PC retail land. In fact, the UK Retail Charts are exactly the same as last week’s, with the only difference that Revelations lost one place whereas Late Night gained one. Football Manager 2012 is still at the first place, followed by Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3 is still one place higher than Battlefield 3. Battlefield 3 – Sixth and Final Dinosaur Located In Wake Island

Damn, it seems that every BF3 player has been looking for all those easter-egged dinosaurs that DICE had included in the expansion of Battlefield 3, Back to Karkand. And look and behold, as the sixth and final dinosaur has been located in Wake Island. Spotted and uploaded by SpotTheOzzie, this last dinosaur is on the south western end on a rock mass in the Wake Island map. Renegade X is a remake of Command & Conquer: Renegade; Single-Player Campaign getting released on January 28th

Now I can’t be the only one here that was a fan of Command & Conquer: Renegade. Sure, it has its issues but come on, it was a nice change to actually see all building and vehicles in first person perspective. And in case you were unaware of, Renegade X is a Tactical FPS mod for Unreal Tournament 3, bringing the world of Command & Conquer to current generation. Wreckage mod for Crysis is coming out in a few days; Launch trailer released

The final episode of the popular singleplayer-mod-trilogy for the game Crysis Wars will be released in a few days. Wreckage offers an action orientated presentation, teambased combat, complete voice acting and graphics on the same level as the original Crysis game. The mod is developed by the team who brought you “Rainy Days” and will also be playable with the Crysis Wars trial version. The mod is currently slated for a 22nd December release and the team has just released its launch trailer. Enjoy! iCEnhancer Skyrim – New Comparison Shots Released

Hayssam Keilany released some comparison shots between his iCEnhancer mod for Skyrim and the game’s vanilla version. Now before jumping to early conclusions, this mod is still in development and in the alpha stage, so lots of things/features/colors could be changed. Overall, it looks good and there are some great improvements in some scenes. On the other hand though, some scenes are too saturated and others need more tweaking. PC gamers, meet Blink; an indie 3rd person action/stealth game that is powered by UDK

What you are about to see comes from a team of students. In other words, this is not from a gaming studio and given its indie nature, it has bugs and feels a bit unpolished (especially the character’s animations). But damn, it does look impressive guys and we want to congratulate the students for their attempt. So, Blink is a 3rd person, action-stealth game currently in development at the University of Southern California. The team also includes students from Los Angeles-based art schools such as Gnomon School of Visual Effects, and Laguna College of Art and Design. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – New upcoming jaw-dropping texture pack is in the works, comparison shots included

Bethesda’s forum member “S.T.A.R.A.C.” is currently working on a complete texture pack for Skyrim. Now you might say that you’ve heard about such projects and before, right? Well, this one does look promising and the graphical jump is really impressive. S.T.A.R.A.C. has also released some comparison shots that can be viewed bellow. As always, vanilla Skyrim is on the left and modded Skyrim is on the right. No release date has been announced as of yet but we’ll keep you informed about its progress. In other news, you can find bellow a comparison video of Chris2012’s Whiterun HQ Texture Pack, a pack that replaces almost every texture in Whiterun. Enjoy!
