Bohemia Interactive has just released five brand new screenshots for the remake of the classic Carrier Command game called, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will feature large 32 island archipelago occupied by an enemy and will be set in the Gaea Universe, with a story adapted from the science fiction trilogy of novels. The game will reinvent the classic gameplay of the original Carrier Command, released in 1988, to deliver a truly next-gen experience. Double Fine’s boss, Tim Schafer, revealed in G4TV that Stacking, the extraordinary Matryoshka doll adventure game, will be released soon to the PC. In Stacking, you play as teeny Russian Doll Charlie Blackmore, who must take on a puzzle-filled quest to rescue his family from The Baron. No release date has been announced as of yet. Playing co-op with a friend is always an enjoyable experience in games and Fudsine and his team have been working hard on bringing that experience to Crysis 2. Crytek sent us word that the demo of this modification is out now and players will be able to oppose the infamous pinger of Crysis 2 in Grand Central Station. Seriously now, Crytek should have implemented a Co-Op mode in the first place as it looks great. Unfortunately, the future of this mod is uncertain as a lot of members have left the team. Fudsine stated that they will patch the with any updates they make, meaning that more maps could find their way in it. Mail.Ru Group and Crytek announced today that they signed a publishing deal for Warface. The free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) is based on Crytek’s award winning game development solution CryENGINE 3 and will be released and operated by Mail.Ru Group in Russia and the CIS countries. Crytek’s first free-to-play game Warface promises to combine high production values with stunning visuals and an intense gameplay experience known from conventional retail products. Great news for Bethesda and Zenimax as the PC version of Skyrim has outsold every other PC game and is the fastest-selling game in Steam’s history. According to Bethesda’s and Valve’s reports, Skyrim has outsold every other PC game by a 3:1 ratio. As a result of that, the game is still at the top of Steam’s stats and is definitely great to see Bethesda and Zenimax acknowledging the PC fan-base. Well, at least they are not complaining about piracy – like pretty much everyone else – which is good in our books. Imagine now what will happen when the Creation Kit get’s released which will take the Skyrim experience to a whole new level.
